Unveiling Beauty

This is for you…

You who are on the edge of change but frozen in the space between.

Your hearts desires and pleadings are so deep and so profound you don’t even know how to begin.

Everything feels like it is getting in the way.

And yet everything in the way is the way.

When you find yourself at the cusp of life where there is no going back and the way forward feels daunting, overwhelming, harrowing and so unknown.

You know there is joy and hope in the future and even in this dark moment but you are in the deep— the other side of joy. The balance of happiness and sorrow. Hope and despair. Clarity and confusion. Lost and found. Alone but with legions.

Is this not joy?

The honoring of two opposites that somehow make up our hope and our courage and our triumph AND finds its roots in the tangles of grief and real. In the story of the Velveteen Rabbit… the rabbit is most alive after the deepest hurt and sorrow.

This is for you…

You know that you will find all your heart desires in the steps and journey ahead but in this moment all as it was is lost and gone. Abandoned and destroyed. It deserves a moment of solace and pause and deep echoing tears that makes your soul rumble and your chest heave and leaves your lungs gasping for air.

You are happy despite the pain and you’re hurting despite the glimmers of a path forward and onward.

You love deeply and yet incompletely.

You know you are capable of more and need to press on and yet are frozen unable to move.

This is for you…

I see you in this mass and in the middle.

Fear not!

This new beginning and ground zero is

not ungrounded. It has been through storms before and has some hefty experience. It is just time to rebuild from the ground up.

Don’t let the despair and grief consume you.

You are not alone.

Our Savior descended below it all to meet you here in this moment.

And before He rescues you and leads you to greener pastures, He beholds you as you are… in your rags and your vulnerable soul naked and fully exposed.

He weeps with you. He sees fully and deeply into the depths of you.

And He waits. He waits til you reach for His hands and cling to His neck.

He waits til you nod with the last ounces of strength you have …

He carries you! He shoulders all your pain and exhaustion and effort.

And here He meets you whatever your storm. He brings you out of the deep to the solid ground. To the new start. To your new life.

Not unseasoned… together, with Him, you build anew on a rock (Him) and you do it with wisdom from the storms you have weathered.

He calls in legions of angels and support and help.

And there He and they stand and wait with you.

You do not need to run faster than you have strength or feel pulled under again by all the worlds rushing of you for achievement …

Yes there is work to do. And yes you will rise to your feet and do it…

But in this moment, there is time to pause and catch your breath. Time to process and behold the makings of your soul. Time to witness your heart’s deepest and most profound desires.

There is time to hang on His neck and look into His eyes and tell Him all your hurts and have it held and witnessed and sacred and then time for Him to wait for you to connect in His eyes to tell Him you are ready!

This is for you!

Take that breath! Take one more sigh and here we begin at the feet of Jesus for the journey of a lifetime.

Manifesting Joy… not without the ache and pains… but renewed and restored because of it all.

Where hand in hand we rise to new heights and new glories and new life.

Unveiling our faces to behold and see the Divinity in each of us radiate!
